Here is the view from one of the ridges of the Kamaiki trail. You can see a nice cross section of Honolulu and all the way out into the Pacific Ocean. In the distance you can make out the reef runway of Honolulu International Airport and see airplanes taking off and landing. It also give you a nice view of how houses and roads are set up. You can’t make it out in this picture but if you use a binoculars you can even see one of the Wyland whaling walls specifically the one located just off Nimitz near the Airport.
