We move on to some appetizers from Azure at the Royal Hawaiian in Waikiki. the top photos may be one of the best appetizer I’ve ever eaten. It was the Sashimi of Japanese hamachi, Ikura, wasabi, yuzu and Hirabara Farms’ radish salad. I’m a big fan of hamachi and this presentation and taste was to die for. Below is the Sake Manila Clams with enoki mushrooms, pork belly and lemon gremolata. Thanks to Chef de Cuisine Jon Matsubara for preparing this special appetizer for our table.
