With all the humid and rainy weather we have had lately I though I’d brighten thing up with these pretty and colorful flowers. This was taken at Foster Botanical Gardens in the greenhouse. Unfortunately there was no sign with the flower name but one of my friends said it looks like sparklers… so we will just call them sparkler flowers. If you know what they are actually called please let me know.

Time to wrap up our coverage of the 2015 Biggest Little Airshow at the Pacific Aviation Museum. Here is a collection of remote control airplanes including the stealth fighter. The remote control plane flights were amazing though hard to get a decent picture. I especially like the helicopters some of which headed in crazy angles towards the ground and pulled up at the last second. If you missed it this year be sure to be there in 2016. Also be sure to check out the return of the Blue Angels at Kaneohe Bay October 17 and 18, 2015.

Not all the display at the Biggest Little Airshow were remote controlled. People were able to get into the cockpit of “The Flying Switchblade”.  This F-111 tactical bomber was nicknamed Aardvark. This bomber could fly hundreds of miles close to the earth and under the radar, hit its target, then zoom high up in the air and return home at supersonic speeds.
