┬áHere is the Octopus “He’e” which is a cephalod mollusc (closely related to squid, cuttlefish and the chambered nautilus). They lack a shell and are covered by a muscular layer of tissue called the mantle. Octopuses have eight arms and are considered one of the most intelligent of invertebrates. They leaven from experience and also carefully monitor their environment to be on the lookout for prey and predictors. They can also change skin color to blend in with their surroundings. They feed on shrimp, lobsters, crabs, fish and molluscs and can grow up to 3 feet. I got lucky with the bonus photo when the octopus decides to climb the glass and show off his tentacles.
