I figured dessert is the perfect ending to this series on the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival. So to end it here is the pineapple shave ice with coconut tapioca, kanten and vanilla mochi sorbet by MW Restaurant. It was a cool and refreshing way to end the night. These were just a sampling of some items. There were so many other delicious food items though I choose to highlight the ones that I got the best photos of.  One very interesting dish I have to mention is the Hudson Valley foie gras with Logan fruit, macadamia brittle, li hing mui and toddy palm seeds by chef Michael Ginor. This surprising combination was so awesome and so different. It was delicious and my photo with the nighttime lighting just didn’t do it justice.  Instagram and Twitter users visit for more photos and live tweeting at various Hawaii events.
