We end the Midsummer Night’s Gleam series with a photo I took before the sun set. This is the Flame of the Forest flower which just happened to be in full bloom. This plant is usually found in the region between India and Burma.  It’s scientific name is Butea Monosperma and is also known as the Bastard Teak or Parrot Tree. It is just one of the many trees and flowers on the ground of the Foster Botanical Gardens. Though the Gleam happens only once a year be sure to check out the botanical gardens and see whats blooming during your visit. I’m taking a brief break gather some new photos and go on vacation. See you back here in August with more photo of the day pictures.
