I was talking to one of my coworkers about various hiking trails near waterfalls or water and it made me think of the last time I went up to the Lanikai Bunkers. Its a pretty nice short hike though there is a super steep first climb but the rewarding view is well worth the effort. This is a photo of the Mokulua Islands taken from atop one of the bunkers. Best of all after a nice hike you can make your way over to Kailua or Lanikai beach and take a nice refreshing swim.
