Hula dancing at the Prince Lot Hula Festival. This year the theme was “Ho’omalamalama, E Ala Mai… Enlighten, Rise!”. This signifies the importance of Moanalua Valley as a sacred place where people gathered to learn and practice chants of ancient times. This nice thing about this festival is that there trees at Moanalua Gardens provide a lot of shade so its fairly easy to find a shady spot and sit and enjoy the show.
