On display at one of the many stores in Chinatown are tons of candied fruits and vegetables, teas, mochi crackers, cracked seeds, peanut and macadamia nut candy and a lot of other mouth watering goodies. Like many who grew up in Hawaii I remember going to Chinatown as a kid as my parents did some shopping and of course being treated to those goodies as a reward for being good. Even today it is so hard to resist and there are so many different varieties to try. Also it makes a nice colorful picture. Tomorrow we will look at some nice fresh Chinatown produce.
