Continuing my black and white film photo series this is a picture of the Prince Lot House at Moanalua Gardens. This house was built in the 1950’s and is next to a bamboo grove, taro patch and a pond with colorful Koi that you can feed with pellets. The first step to developing black and white pictures is opening the film in a pitch black room or in a film sleeve and unrolling the film and threading the film onto a reel and winding it. While its very easy to do in the light it is amazingly hard to do in the darkness though with practice I’m sure its not too bad. It did take me more than a few minutes to finally accomplish this in the dark. We will continue the process tomorrow.
