As the 2010 Winter Olympics winds down, we conclude our brief look at my Vancouver photos with a look of the Vancouver skyline as seen from the Vancouver Lookout atop Harbour Centre. We took a glass elevator up 430 feet to the observation deck and enjoyed a 360 degree view of the city. I’ll have to go back one day as we did not have much time since there was a boat to catch. You’ll notice some buildings in progress which I’m sure were finished before the Olympics started. I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Occasionally we will take breaks from Hawaii pictures to feature places where Hawaii residents (in this case me) vacation to.

In honor of the 2010 Olympics which I think I’ve watched too many hours of on Television I decided to pause the Hawaii pictures and send you on vacation to Vancouver for some of the snapshots from my last visit there. Hope you enjoy the change of paces. Here is one of the modern glass buildings flying the Canadian flag and flags welcoming the Olympics which at the time of this picture was still years away. This building just stood out so I angled myself to get this picture.
